Back in autumn 2012, in the month of October specifically, the company Cucareliquia was created by the Gijón designers Héctor Jareño and Adrián Díaz.
It has been 10 years since they launched their first collection and during this time there have been many changes to the brand, the most obvious of which is its change of name and identity, as it is now known as Reliquiae.
The company is committed to unifying its values, tradition and craftsmanship, and this is reflected in its designs, which are often inspired by history. Its artisans employ art and expertise to create unique objects, bags and leather goods that are designed to last a lifetime.
Their collections of leather bags are all handmade entirely in Spain in artisanal workshops, as they do not want to lose the essence of the brand.
The brand’s flagship product is without a doubt the Archy bag. This is a handbag with an elegant and practical arch at the bottom of the bag; it is made of Nappa leather with an interior zipped pocket. The bag is a piece inspired by the rationalist geometry of the second half of the 20th century.

Major figures, such as H.M. Queen Letizia, choose the Archy model to complete their looks, and recently Sofía Palazuelo, the Duchess of Huéscar, appeared at the reception for the National Day of Spain on 12 October with an Archy bag in a pastel shade.
