E-commerce continues to expand in the fashion business, a trend accelerated by COVID-19 since there has been very significant growth of the sector’s sales online and through specialised marketplaces.
For this reason, ASTUREX organised a series of virtual workshops so that Asturian fashion brands could decide whether this was the right channel for marketing their products abroad.
The workshops, which took place in October and November, covered the following topics:
- Can I determine my company’s potential for joining a Marketplace specialising in fashion?
- Specific marketplaces for companies in the fashion industry: ASOS and ZALANDO
- Specific marketplaces for companies in the fashion industry: ETSY, FARFETCH, YOOX and ANKORSTORE
- Commercial and operational strategy for using the prioritised Marketplace
This series of webinars is part of the Asturian fashion brands international promotion Plan launched by Asturex in 2020 and includes both networking, raising awareness and attracting interest and advertising and marketing. It also works with the distribution chain and international promotion.
