The activity is part of the international promotion plan for the Asturian fashion industry, which already has 43 participating companies.

To get to know one of the industry’s most important international showcases, the Asturian firms Nuria Ordiales, Ultrammar, Coko and YES50 (women’s fashion), Cuerokas (handbags and accessories) and BeVara (jewellery) are participating from 23 to 26 September in a trip to the White Milano trade fair, which is held in Milan’s Tortona Fashion District. The trip was organised by Sociedad de Promoción Exterior Principado de Asturias (Asturex).

This is Asturex’s first time at White Milano, a powerful contemporary fashion showcase that year after year has been a cultural landmark for a generation of stylists, designers and artists who regard this fair as a great platform for launching their creations.

The trade fair organisation itself has scheduled a guided tour for Asturex and the six participating firms, which will also be accompanied by the Spanish Trade Office in Milan.

The trip is one of the activities scheduled in the international promotion plan for the Asturian fashion industry, which already has 43 participating companies.

After the last few years of digital meets, the organisation is now ready to go face-to-face again at this year’s fair, which presents women’s apparel and accessories. In its range of sections, visitors can find shoes, jewellery, lingerie, glasses and even perfumes. In this sense, the fair is pursuing a buyer-oriented strategy, and every year it has succeeded at carving out a position in the international fashion landscape and the Milanese metropolitan fabric. In short, White Milano knows how to bring a fine selection of fashion trends together with a complete range of high-impact products.

Before the coronavirus crisis hit, White Milano was growing yearly in terms of brand presence and volume. In its traditional face-to-face format it had over 550 brands and welcomed more than 27,000 professionals.
